Seyval Blanc is wonderful white grape that loves the weather in southern Illinois. We originally finished it into a crisp dry wine, and it became our customers favorite. Soon thereafter, we tried it as a sweet, and "Sweet Seyval" has found a home here on the Hill.
Chambourcin is one of the premier grapes in southern Illinois. A hybrid that was originally developed in the Loire valley of France, it made its way to the cooler climate areas of North America, and the wine growing region of the Shawnee Hills.
The Rustle Hill White Chambourcin is a Rose, semi-Dry wine, with crisp cherry and strawberry flavors.
Norton is an outstanding dry red wine. It could be considered southern Illinois' 'second' red wine, following the Chambourcin. Norton has been a favorite in Missouri for years and years, and was brought to southern Illinois years ago.
